Update on 2020 production

We are very pleased to announce that after much deliberation, we have decided that it is in the best interest of our community to move forward with the seventh annual Magic City Nutcracker in digital form.

We have conferred with our committee, parent representatives, and doctors on the best and safest ways to produce this year’s story ballet and we have arrived at a very special and creative medium to bring this magical story to life for our friends and family and the many dancers who look forward to performing in this timeless classic every season. We will be rehearsing in a creative format as well that will put your dancer’s and their family’s health as the main priority. We are truly thankful for the ability to produce this year’s ballet, as we know that most of our friends in the performing arts are suffering due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Our world is changing rapidly and the Magic City Nutcracker is committed to evolving in a way to uplift and keep our arts community thriving. We are thrilled to be working on this project with such an incredible and innovative team to bring our show to life in a way that will keep everyone's health and safety at the forefront. Filming our show in various iconic locations around town, we hope this new digital format will not only be a love letter to our magical city, but also a memory to be cherished for years to come. We are not only producing a ballet we are striving to thread our artists together in a way to keep our passions alive and well in uncertain times.
